About Conference

KIET School of Pharmacy in association with Indian Pharmacological Society has considered to conduct “ Northern Regional Conference of Indian Pharmacological Society (NRIPSCON- 2017)” at KIET School of Pharmacy, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, India from 31st August and Sept 1-2, 2017. Theme “Emerging trends in Pharmacology and Pharmacy Practices” has been selected in view of latest developments in field of medicine. The scientific sessions include oration, preliminary lectures, symposia, Brain storming sessions, young scientist, and poster presentations etc., on recent developments in basic / clinical pharmacology. There will be special program to identify the synergy between Pharmacist, Pharmacologists other health care professionals so as to promote the rational medicines. Apart from these, various scientific sessions covering topics on current issues of regulatory, industrial and academic modern pharmacology such as safe and Effective Therapy, Antibiotic Resistance, Good Clinical Practice and Bioethics, Pharmacovigilance in addition to the recent advances on Molecular Pharmacology research and impending challenges will be discussed. All awards, prizes and oration will be held as per bye-laws of Indian Pharmacological Society.


The city is named after the founder, Ghazi-ud –din . Initially known as Ghaziuddinnagar, now named as Ghaziabad. It is edged by Meerut city to the north, by Gautam budh Nagar and Bulandshahar to the south, by the Jyotibaphuli Nagrar district to the east and by Delhi to the south west. The three principle rivers traversing the district are the Yamuna, Ganges and Hindon. The average temperature during the month of September ranges between 15°C to 30°C.
